Growing up and raising my children, I loved to sew but when it came to quilting, I thought, “why would I cut up little pieces and sew them back together.” Then in 2012, I was in a horrible head on collision with a 60 mph aggressor. In one split second, I had 15 broken bones, including 2 at C-2 which is usually a fatal injury. I had broken ribs, broken ankle and I was immobile and in a wheelchair for 14 weeks. I had to do something, so I pulled up my sewing machine in front of my wheelchair and started watching YouTube. I was hooked!
A year later, I tried every longarm machine on the market and jumped in with both feet.
My husband and I live in Lindon, Utah. We have 5 wonderful children, 24 fantastic granchildren, and 2 horses, a dog and a cat. I retired from my accounting career and now I quilt for others. “Keep Us In Stitches” (thread and laughter). Quilting and fabric is the perfect therapy.
